White sneakers are extremely susceptible to scratches, scuff marks, smudges and damage, especially if you do a lot of walking in them. “They may need more than simple cleaning,” says Vincent Rao Jr., president of shoe restoration company Vince’s Village Cobbler. “Often, they require a full repaint, especially if they are heavily stained.”
